100 Bird Sporting Championships Result

The 100 Bird Sporting Championship Final took place yesterday at Drumman CPC. The Winner of the Thornton’s recycling plate and overall winner was David Marshall who won a closely fought shoot-off over thirty targets with Paudie Landers. The standard of shooting in this final was simply breathtaking on very testing targets in tough weather conditions.

Colin Dunne won the Eric Parkes trophy after a shoot-off with Sean McPartlin.

Jodie Devlin won the Puma .22 Rifle on the pool stand in the afternoon and Gerard Clarke won the Baikal shotgun on offer earlier that morning.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Drumman CPC for the use of their fine facility and for setting up two very testing courses on the day. We would also like to thank all the members who helped out to ensure the smooth running of the event on the day. Lastly we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members who supported this event and our prize sponsors Eric Parkes and Thornton’s Recycling. We will post pictures of the event over the next few days.

100 Target English Sporting at Naul CPC+Inter Club Competition 12/10/2014

There is an additional 100 target event scheduled for this Sunday at Naul CPC. The Committee has decided to run a 50 Target Inter Club competition in conjunction with this 100 target event. The first 50 Targets of the 100 target competition  will count towards the club event. Each competitor must declare their club affiliation at registration and each clubs best 7 scores on the day will count toward the inter club competition. The Inter Club league cup is a stunning piece of silverware and a prize well worth of winning. We have been informed by Naul CPC that  new stands have been set up on a different part of the grounds for Sunday. This sounds like an event not to be missed. Shooting Starts at 10am.
